Elite Vounteer Log

Welcome to the Leadership Requirement Log page for our Black Belt and Elite Danbo candidates.

At our Dojang, a true Martial Artist is defined not just by physical strength, but by character, leadership, and the ability to inspire others. To fulfill the requirements for their upcoming belt promotion, all candidates must complete 10 assistant teaching sessions and log their hours below.

This program is a critical milestone where students transition from being “learners” to “leaders.” Here is why this practical teaching experience is highly essential for your child’s personal, academic, and athletic growth:

Key Benefits of the Assistant Teaching Program
1. Developing Leadership & Responsibility
Teaching requires students to step out of their comfort zones and take ownership. By guiding junior students, they naturally embody the values of a Black Belt, learning what it means to be a reliable role model.

2. Boosting Confidence & Public Speaking
Standing in front of a class, projecting their voice, and giving clear instructions breaks the fear of public speaking. This firsthand experience builds an unshakable sense of confidence that directly translates to school presentations and future interviews.

3. Mastery Through Teaching
As the saying goes, “To teach is to learn twice.” Explaining basic techniques and forms (Poomsae) to beginners forces advanced students to analyze their own movements, perfecting their own technical details.

4. Enhancing Communication & Empathy
Working with younger or slower-paced students requires immense patience. Candidates learn to view challenges through someone else’s eyes, developing high emotional intelligence (EQ) and effective communication skills.
