California Amateur Youth Sport Foundation (CA AYSF)
Volunteer Service Program (Ages 10 & Older)
Eligibility:
The California Amateur Youth Sport Foundation (CA AYSF) Volunteer Program is open to members who are 10 years old and above.
Please complete and submit your volunteer hours using the form below. It is each member’s responsibility to accurately record and submit all volunteer activities.
Volunteer Year:
June 2026 – June 2027
Effective immediately, all volunteer service completed during this volunteer year will be counted toward your CA AYSF volunteer record.
Volunteer Recognition
Members who participate in community service, whether through CA AYSF events or approved outside volunteer organizations, may become eligible for:
- Community Service Recognition Awards
- Volunteer Achievement Awards
- Scholarship opportunities
- Leadership recognition
- College application support through documented volunteer service
Whenever you attend an approved referee seminar, referee training, leadership meeting, or volunteer event, you may record those hours through the volunteer submission form.
Elite Taekwondo Members
If you are assisting classes at Elite Taekwondo Center, please wear your official AYSF Jacket while volunteering.
By doing so, you may receive:
- ✔ Elite Taekwondo Leadership/Volunteer Credit
- ✔ CA AYSF Volunteer Hours Credit
Our Mission
The California Amateur Youth Sport Foundation is committed to developing future youth leaders through:
- Youth Referee Development
- Leadership Training
- Community Service Projects
- Taekwondo Demonstrations
- Coaching and Teaching Experience
- International Cultural Exchange Programs
CA AYSF has established Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the World Taekwondo Mission Association and the World Sport Committee to provide international exchange opportunities and leadership development programs for our youth members.
Throughout the year, our members will have opportunities to:
- Serve as youth referees at tournaments
- Participate in referee education and certification programs
- Perform Taekwondo demonstrations for the community
- Support food donation and charity events for seniors and families in need
- Teach Taekwondo through Zoom classes for low-income students
- Participate in leadership workshops and community outreach projects
- Represent CA AYSF in both the United States and Korea through exchange programs
We encourage every member to become an active leader, serve the community, and build valuable experiences that will benefit their future educational and professional goals.
